About the Order of the Ancients

Membership of the Order of the Ancients is divided into Guardians, those who have proved themselves worthy to stand amongst the elite ranks of the Order and Seekers, initiates into the Order who strive for experience and skill to become something more.

Rules of the Unit
All members must own their own set of weapons, garb and armor that they wish to use at events with the Order.All Seekers must wear a brown tabard with a white chevron across the chest.
All Guardians must wear brown atire with either silver/argent trim or a silver/argent chevron across the chest.
All ruling decisions about the unit are made with a simple majority of the Guardians, in cases of ties the founding 4 Guardians will council for a decision.
Becoming a Guardian
Seekers wishing to obtain entry as a Guardian must fulfill several requirements.A Seeker must have been with the Order of the Ancients for one school year (or 9 months).
A Seeker must have attended at least one national Dagorhir event (including Maethodoron's Winter Event).
A Seeker may then be sponsored by an existing Guardian.
If any other Guardian objects he may present his grounds for objection and challenge the Seeker to contest.
A Seeker must then undergo the Trial of the Ancients, a gauntlet of singles combat against each existing Guardian until each is defeated.
Success ultimately grants a promotion to Guardian and all rights that come with.
Seekers must wait 3 months before attempting the Trial of the Ancients again.
